Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For the Kingdom and the power and the glory are yours now and forever Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Apostle's Creed

I Believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended to the dead; on the third day He arose again from the dead: He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Act of Faith

O God,
I firmly believe all the truths that you have revealed and that you teach us through your Church, for you are the truth itself, and can neither deceive or be deceived.

Act of Hope

O God,
I hope with complete trust that you will give me, through the merits of Jesus Christ, all the necessary grace in this world and everlasting life, in the world to come, for this is what you have promised and you always keep your promises.

Act of Charity

O My God, I love Thee above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because Thou art all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

Memorare

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known in any age
that any one who fled your protection, implored your help and sought your intercession, was left abandoned. Inspired with this confidence, therefore I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to you I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Do not O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise my prayers but mercifully hear and grant them.
Amen

Prayer of St Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our safeguard
Against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke and humbly prayer
To thou, the Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of almighty God
cast into hell Satan and all the
Other evil spirits who roam throughout the world seeking the
ruin of souls. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen

HAIL, HOLY QUEEN, Mother of Mercy, hail our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, O most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

[The following is only to be said in conclusion of the Rosary]
V. Let us pray.
O GOD, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Fatima Prayer

O my Jesus, Forgive us our sins
Save us from the fires of hell
Lead all souls to Heaven
Especially those in most need
Of thy mercy.
Amen

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Act of Contrition

O my God, I am very sorry that I have sinned against you,
Because you are so good with your help I will
Try not to sin again.
Amen

Act of Contrition

O my God,
I am heartily sorry for
having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
because I dread the loss of heaven,
and the pains of hell;
but most of all because
they offend Thee, my God,
Who are all good and
deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace,
to confess my sins,
to do penance,
and to amend my life.

Amen

Act of Contrition

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong
and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above
all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more,
and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and
died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy. Amen.

Prayer of Guardian Angel

O Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom Gods love who meets me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen.

Come Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit,
Fill the hearts of thy faithful
And kindle them in the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit
And they shall be created
And you will renew the face of the Earth. O God,
On the first Pentecost
You instructed the hearts of those who believed in you
By the light of the Holy Spirit.
Under the inspiration of the same Spirit
Give us a taste for what is right
And true, and continuing a sense
Of his presence and power
Through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

And I love you with all my heart

Having saved me by your grace
And having preserved my during the night

To your will and for your greater glory.

May your grace be with me always
And with those I love.
Amen

The Angelus

V. The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.
Hail Mary…
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail Mary…
V. And the Word was made flesh.
R. And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary…
V. Pray for us, O holy other of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

V. Let us pray

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Prayer before you sleep

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
May the angels watch me through the night
And wake me, in the morning light
If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take
God bless our family and friends
Amen

The Serenity prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Grace before meals

Bless us, O Lord and these your gifts
Which we are about to receive
From your bounty, thought Christ Our Lord.
Amen

Grace after meals

We give you thanks,
Almighty God,
For these and all your blessings
You live and reign forever and ever
Amen.

Prayer of Guardian Angel

O Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom Gods love who meets me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen.

Prayer for the Holy Souls in Purgatory
St Gertrude

Eternal Father, I offer You the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus,
In union with the Masses said throughout the world today,
For all the Holy Souls in Purgatory,
For sinners everywhere,
For sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family, Amen.

The Confiteor

I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have sinned through my own fault in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do;
and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

May almighty God have mercy on us,
forgive us our sins,
and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen.

Magnificat

My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden;
for behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and Holy is His Name;
And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.
He has shown might with His arm,
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and has exalted those of low degree.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has given help to Israel, in remembrance of His mercy
Even as He spoke to our fathers -
to Abraham and to His seed forever.
Amen.

The Divine Praises

Blessed be God.
Blessed be His Holy Name.
Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man.
Blessed be the name of Jesus.
Blessed be His Most Sacred Heart.
Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the paraclete.
Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy.
Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception.
Blessed be her glorious Assumption.
Blessed be the name of Mary, Virgin and Mother.
Blessed be Saint Joseph, her most chaste spouse.
Blessed be God in His angels and in His Saints.

May the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time.
Amen.

Chaplet of Divine Infancy

This chaplet of the Divine Infant Jesus consists of fifteen beads. The first three beads are in honour of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. On these beads an Our Father is recited, preceded each time by the words “And the Word was made flesh”.

The other beads honour the twelve years of Our Lord's Holy Childhood. The Hail Mary is recited twelve times; before the first of Hail Mary, one prays, “And the Word was made Flesh and dwelt amongst us.”

On the medal one prays, “Divine Infant Jesus, I adore Thy Cross, and I accept all the crosses Thou wilt be pleased to send me. Adorable Trinity, I offer Thee for the glory of the Holy Name of God all the adorations of the Sacred Heart of the Holy Infant Jesus.”

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
Using your Rosary beads pray

Opening prayer:
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Then say one Our Father, One Hail Mary and One Apostles Creed

On the large ‘Our Father’ beads of the Rosary pray:

Eternal Father,
I offer you the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son,
Our Lord, Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins
and those of the whole world.

On the smaller ‘Hail Mary’ beads of the Rosary pray:

V:For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R: have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Conclude with (Say 3 Times):

Holy God,
Holy Mighty One,
Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.

Optional:
“O Blood and water which gushed forth form the heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust In you x3”

“Jesus I trust in you x3”

Closing Prayer
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion -- inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.

Petition for the proper exercise before Communion

When I consider thy greatness O Lord and my own vileness I tremble very much and confounded. For if I come not to thee I fly from life. And if I intrude myself unworthily I incur thy displeasure. What then shall I do O my God, my helper, my counselor in necessities? Do thou teach me the right way, purpose some short exercise suitable for the Holy Communion. For it is necessary to know in what manner I should reverently and devoutly prepare my heart for thee for the profitable receiving of thy Sacrament or for celebrating so great and divine a sacrifice.
Amen
