“Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.” (Luke 17:37)
The Holy Family of Nazareth is a spiritual movement that was born from the needs of our existing parish couples and families who are facing a lot of challenges in their marriage and with their children. It was established by our spiritual leader Fr Tanios Ghoussain. The journey started with a couples retreat that took place on the June 3rd, 2016. The focus was to revisit the building blocks of marriage and the importance of God’s presence in the family. Fr Tanios worked on strengthening couples with God’s words, power and love, emphasising the significance of marriage in our current society.
Regular spiritual activities as adoration, meditation, prayers, and mass have been launched to assist couples and families to deepen their relationship with God through the teaching of the bible and the church to consecrate their own family to the holy family of Nazareth. The group also organises regular social gatherings, retreats, and yearly family camp.
